day’s end

Isn’t it just magical to watch the sunset on a beach? To watch the light change from minute to minute, change from blue to red to orange to blue, darkness… And, if at all possible, capture it, of course! At this particular beach in County Mayo (Carrowmore, I think it was), you can’t actually see the sun vanish in the sea because the beach faces somewhat north-westerly, and not straight out to the atlantic, but Achill Island (which you can see in this shot) on the opposite side of  Clew Bay. Still, the change in the light remains, and is beautiful, on a day like this.
