Charminar

One of the main landmarks in Hyderabad is the Charminar – a monument built in 1591. ‘Charminar’ simply means ‘mosque of the four minarets’, and that’s what it is – four minarets, each rising to 48 meters.

Around the Charminar, chaos reigns. A market and a busy road, a mosque and a hospital nearby… cars autorickshaws cyclists scooters pedestrians… all at once, and in total chaos. Absolutely amazing.
