trees

Trees are special.

They have seen so much, some of them have guarded their spot for hundreds of years, and it’s always beautiful and humbling to see a real giant of a tree, an ancient reminder of how short life really is, if you think about it.

Most trees here in the West of Ireland are crooked, bent over by constant winds, and still they look absolutely stunning.

For today, though, a guardian of Corcomroe Abbey…

  1. You and me both.. You have to admire their majesty and longevity and ability to battle the elements… plus they make for a great photographic subject… Love the shots you’ve captured..

  2. Oh, how wonderful. I love trees and these pictures are great. Ireland has a special place in my heart. Thanks for bringing back wonderful dreams and memories. Peace.
