Happy Thanksgiving to those of you across the pond!
It’s important to think of the things that we can and should be thankful for, especially in these rather dark times for Ireland (economically speaking… although personally, I’m all for the IMF moving in, to clear up this utter mess that the cronyism and ineptitude (is that a word, even?) of our so-called political ‘leaders’ have gotten us into – of course it’s Joe Soap that has to pay, not the ones that caused this disaster… but this is a happy blog, I really don’t want to think about the situation anymore…)

So, thankful.
For my family, across the water.
For my wonderful boyfriend, soul mate, everything.
For my friends.
For having a job.
For living in a beautiful country – never mind all the rain, on a sunny day, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else (well, New Zealand, perhaps!)

So, in that spirit, here’s one from Fanore beach the other day –

more to come from that evening :)

  1. Aren’t they ALL inept… or at least from the evidence I’ve seen they are… Anyways, you’re right about giving thanks for the good things… and that includes your stunning seascape…
