Diamond Hill

Connemara National Park

A really nice day today (for a change) so out we went to Connemara national park out in Letterfrack, to climb Diamond Hill. A lovely little walk, nothing too strenuous (it’s only 400 meters high), but a tad windy up on top!

On the way up as well as on the way down, you get a gorgeous view of the Connemara coastline, and the islands off the coast – Inishark, Inishbofin, Inishturk, Clare Island and Achill Island (on a clear day).
