grey day

This looks very much like winter, doesn’t it:

or autumn, at the very least.

Truth be told, I took this shot sometime last summer, was it in August, or September? Sometime like that. Yep, the lovely Irish summers, aren’t they great?

This was taken near Glassilaun Beach, up at the entrance to Ireland’s only fjord, Killary Harbour. A stunning place, and this spring/summer, I will definitely return there, hopefully on a better (read: sunnier) day!

Both shots taken with a 10 stop ND filter (Lee Big Stopper)

  1. I do not like these cold temperatures – but your lovely photos make me FEEL warm!

  2. These images with the misty sky look really nice. I love the effect of the last one where you have used the 10 stop ND filter. May not be so nice on a sunny day.

  3. Lovely images. The dark skies add drama, which would not happen on a sunny day!
