the road to Milford Sound

Heading towards what was my favourite part of New Zealand – the Fiordland National Park. One of the biggest national parks in the world, home to iconic Milford Sound and stunning Doubtful Sound.

Here, it rains 2 out of 3 days. The annual rainfall amounts to about 8 metres.

we were there for two days, and the weather was glorious for both of them. How lucky were we!
