(a gorgeous wooden longbow, crafted by a Hungarian named András Kovács… I must admit I’m rather jealous of this bow, it’s just so beautiful to look at, and shoot. A very different animal to my own sky-blue metal recurve bow, but so much fun.)

Easter 2014
from a while ago… over a year ago, to be precise…
out walking, at six in the morning, because she woke up and I decided I might as well, off into the pram with you and out we go… she fell asleep again, of course, very quickly. I walked up the hill, watching as the sun came up over the valley, looking down on the lake that I call home, still.

It’s been a while, yet again… hello? … echo…?
Well, life’s been rather busy, but isn’t it always. I haven’t picked up the camera as much as I would have liked. Not in a long time. But then, that’s what happens, isn’t it, with two kids under 2… No time for anything.
Today, though, was really lovely – sitting in the grass at the front of the house, the almost-2-year old drawing on the cobblestones with some chalk, and the almost 3 month old asleep on a blanket beside me.
And me, re-acquainting myself with my macro lens a little bit. Fun, fun, fun.
(the snow leopard above is from … I don’t know, months ago, from a visit to Dublin Zoo which was, unfortunately, cut short by rain and a cranky toddler… haha, yeah, oops.)

So I’m coming out of my hibernation it seems… slowly, slowly.
Better late than never… usually I send this out by the end of October, but not this year… oops…
